After carrying out a GDPR Audit and discussion with the Information Commissioner’s Office, it has been determined that the Lawful Basis on which Cevac Limited stores personal information provided to us for the purpose of trade between our two companies is that of Legitimate Interest, which is a technical term in data protection law, essentially meaning we have a good and fair reason to use your data and we do so in ways which do not hurt your interests and rights.

So that we can pursue our goal of trading with your company, we retain any of the following personal information which is connected to your role within your company and supplied by you to us for the purposes of processing orders, making deliveries and keeping in touch regarding future enquiries and trade:

We do not share any personal information related to suppliers with third parties.  We do not share any personal information related to customers with third parties, other than the transport company delivering the goods ordered.  In the event that goods are ordered for delivery outside of the EC, your contact details could be passed to an International Courier.  However, we believe that the way in which we use your data does not prejudice your rights and freedoms. 

In case we may be required to undergo an HMRC or VAT inspection in the future, Cevac stores data for seven years, but if you request us to delete your personal details, we will comply.

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information which we hold about you and, if you believe the information we hold about you is inaccurate or incorrect, you have the right to ask us to rectify this.
